Date: April 15, 2025

On the afternoon of April 19th, a lively and vibrant Fintech Job Fair was held in the lobby of the Huixing Building. Shenzhen University WeBank Institute of FinTech and the School of Mathematical Sciences jointly organized the job fair. It invited multiple enterprises and institutions, including WeBank, Hi Sun, E. Sun Bank, Sunshine Insurance, Deke Information, New China Life Insurance, Gaoyi Private Equity, and Baoying Fund. The fair covered various sectors such as finance, insurance, information technology, education, and technical services, providing diverse job opportunities to meet the career needs of students with interdisciplinary backgrounds. Liu Haishan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the SWIFT, Wang Yu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mathematical Sciences, and Ye Xing, Deputy Secretary, visited the fair to understand the students' employment progress and concerns and interacted with representatives from enterprises.

At the recruitment site, students were enthusiastic and showcased their talents in various fields for the future. The HR representatives from enterprises thoughtfully shared their work experience and insights with students, conducted resume analysis, and provided one-on-one career planning advice, offering substantial support for students' career development.

Undergraduate and master's graduates from the institute brought prepared resumes and actively communicated with recruiters. They selected potential employers and positions based on their abilities and needs. Employers also took the initiative to introduce their company's development prospects, recruitment needs, and welfare benefits to the students.

This campus job fair also offered internship positions, attracting hundreds of non-graduating students to the event. They came to understand market demands and job requirements in advance, ensuring they were well-prepared for future employment.

This job fair provided students a comprehensive opportunity to understand industry trends and served as a platform for companies to discover outstanding talents. In addition to active job-seeking students and patiently answering HR representatives, there were various interactive Q&A sessions to help students better understand the job market and clarify their future career directions.

This specialized job fair also attracted 35 graduates from the Guangdong University of Finance and Economics in related majors, and they engaged in discussions about employment opportunities and master's programs in institute classrooms.

SWIFT focuses on the key challenges of current employment promotion efforts. It actively conducts campus recruitment and continuously promotes the efficient and precise matching of graduates' employment needs with the talent requirements of enterprises. By connecting students and employers effectively, it strives to promote high-quality, full employment for graduates, helping students make better career choices and find jobs more quickly. The institute also works further to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between schools and enterprises, accelerate talent development, and better serve the development needs of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
