The WeBank Special Internship Program is an on-the-job practice initiative launched by WeBank for Shenzhen University WeBank Institute of FinTech undergraduate and graduate students in their second semester of the second year or above. The program aims to build a talent cultivation system that integrates industry, academia, research, and application and cultivates talents that meet the needs of the fintech industry. It fully embodies the distinctive characteristics of the Industry-University collaboration, demonstrating the strong partnership between schools and enterprises in cultivating talent. This internship program is dedicated to cultivating highly skilled, practical, and innovative talents at all levels, including undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral, who are familiar with fintech business to develop the fintech industry in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. Specific recruitment positions are listed below.

IT Project Management Position (1)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for managing project progress and coordinating resources in software development.

2. Coordinate with product managers to gather requirements, assess workload, and develop development plans.

3. Track daily development work, allocate resources according to progress, and ensure timely delivery.

4. Responsible for scheduling, following up on software delivery, and resolving discrepancies between business and technology.

5. Promote IT products externally, identify potential clients, and drive sales.

Job Requirements:

1. Strong communication and collaboration skills, high responsibility, and attention to detail.

2. Experience in managing school clubs or organizing university-level activities.

3. Strong data sensitivity, proficient in Excel and other formulas, skilled in PPT creation and reporting.

Web Front-End Development Position (1)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop mobile applications for smartphones, tablets, and other devices, ensuring optimized, high-performance design for resource-limited devices.

2. Develop products for mobile Internet users.

Job Requirements:

1. Passionate about innovation and solving challenging problems.

2. Strong programming foundation with knowledge of algorithms and data structures.

3. Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; knowledge of network communication principles and optimization is a plus. Experience in HTML5, CSS3, and Hybrid App development is a plus.

4. Experience in mobile front-end development is preferred.

Fintech Product Position

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist product managers in researching, analyzing, and planning product requirements.

2. Participate in product design and development, including prototype design and user experience testing.

3. Assist in data analysis to improve and optimize products.

4. Prepare and organize product documentation and materials, such as product specifications and user manuals.

5. Assist in communication and coordination between teams and partners to drive project progress.

Job Requirements:

1. Current undergraduate or graduate student in finance, computer science, marketing, or related fields.

2. Basic knowledge of finance, technology, and marketing; strong logical thinking and data analysis skills.

3. Strong communication and coordination skills for effective team collaboration.

4. Creative and innovative mindset to propose new ideas for products.

5. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-changing work environment.

Emerging Technology Application Development Position (1)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist the technology team in researching and developing emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, etc.

2. Participate in project requirements analysis and planning, assisting in technology selection and architecture design.

3. Participate in developing and implementing emerging technologies, including algorithm design, data processing, and model training.

4. Engage in team technical exchanges and share new technical solutions. 

Job Requirements:

1. Basic programming skills and computer science knowledge, familiar with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python).

2. Basic knowledge and practical experience in AI, machine learning, blockchain, etc., is a plus.

3. Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities for analyzing and resolving technical issues.

4. Self-driven, eager to learn new technologies, and capable of independent research.

5. Proficiency in reading and writing in English, with the ability to understand technical documents.

Artificial Intelligence Algorithm Position (1)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research and development on machine learning-based algorithms for WeBank’s core business and future applications, including but not limited to deep learning, transfer learning, reinforcement learning, and structural learning.

2. Research and develop computer vision, speech recognition, knowledge graphs, natural language processing, and computational economics technologies for WeBank’s core business and future applications.

3. Research cutting-edge AI problems and provide comprehensive technical solutions in line with WeBank’s core business and future applications.

Job Requirements:

1. Preferred candidates with internship experience at leading global companies in AI fields such as machine learning, computer vision, speech recognition, and NLP.

2. Strong programming skills, proficient in C++ or Python, familiar with large-scale data processing platforms such as Hadoop and Spark, and familiar with tools like TensorFlow, Pytorch, Caffe, MXNet, and Theano.

3. Experience publishing papers in top conferences and journals such as NIPS, ICML, CVPR, ICCV, and others is a plus.

4. Passionate about technological innovation and applying AI to real-world business scenarios to create commercial value.

5. Proactive, accountable, and a strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills.
