Shenzhen University WeBank Institute of FinTech Laboratory, established in 2020 with funding from WeBank, is one of the key initiatives in the collaboration between WeBank and Shenzhen University to build a financial technology institute and develop financial technology disciplines.

Digital Human Video Introduction Laboratory
The laboratory fully integrates WeBank's fintech innovation advantages, the research strengths of Shenzhen University as a high-level comprehensive university, and the strengths of other academic and industry partners. It closely monitors the research and application of cutting-edge technologies in the fintech sector, accelerating the industrialization and commercialization of relevant technologies. It also vigorously cultivates a team of leading fintech talents. It establishes a deep collaboration model between schools and enterprises, integrating industry and specialization, teaching and research, and theory and practice.
The laboratory aims to cultivate talents in financial technology with financial autonomy, safety and controllability, and technological innovation awareness. The laboratory mainly focuses on key areas in financial technology, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, big data, and distributed systems.
The laboratory is located on the first floor of the Huixing Building in the Yuehai Campus. It covers an area of 211 square meters and houses 36 desktop computers. The WAND database is installed on seats 10 and 29 computers, and the SDC Platinum database is installed on the computer of seat 10.
The laboratory is open from 9:00 to 12:00, 14:00 to 17:30, and 18:30 to 21:00 on weekdays. Students are welcome to come and study in the laboratory. During the laboratory opening period, there is an administrator on duty (seat number: 18). If you have any questions, you can contact the administrator or Teacher Wang at any time (office: Room 563, Huixing Building).
Matters needing attention
1. To enter and exit the laboratory, you must scan the QR code on the desktop to sign in and out.
2. Please follow the relevant regulations when entering the laboratory, do not make loud noises, consciously maintain laboratory-related items, and do not engage in entertainment activities unrelated to learning in the laboratory.
3. Keep the desktop environment clean and bring personal belongings when leaving.
4. Connecting wires privately or randomly is prohibited to prevent safety accidents, such as fires caused by circuit overload or short circuits. Any equipment power cord, plug, or socket damage should be reported to the laboratory administrator for repair or replacement.
5. When entering the laboratory, please follow the "Management Measures of Shenzhen University Financial Technology Teaching and Experimental Center."
