1. About SAFTI

Shenzhen Audencia Financial Technology Institute (hereinafter referred to as “SAFTI”), Shenzhen University, was established in April 2022 with the approval of China’s Ministry of Education. It is a non-independent legal cooperative entity jointly set up by Shenzhen University and Audencia Business School, which is one of the best business schools in Europe with triple-accredited (EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA) diploma programs.

SAFTI is fully engaged in following and executing China’s major national strategy of developing the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, playing an active part in the China-France High-level People-to-people Exchange Mechanism, mobilizing first-rate educational resources and advanced principles in running educational institutes across China and France, and exploring a new and innovative model for developing Fintech talent with a global vision. By integrating university-business cooperation with international education, SAFTI is a top-notch institute aiming to develop elite and high-caliber professionals. The Institute offers undergraduate and international graduate programs, including three Sino-foreign cooperative undergraduate programs, namely Financial Technology, Big Data Management and Applications, and Blockchain and Information System, as well as one major for the graduate program -- Financial Technology and Risk Control. The Institute actively promotes international education, offering courses taught in English and using original textbooks. It also regularly organizes student and faculty exchange activities between China and France to enhance international friendship. SAFTI is located on the Yuehai campus of Shenzhen University, and its enrollment is expected to reach 1,200 by 2025.

3. Application Requirements

1. Applicants must be under 35 years old and have received their PhD within the past 3 years. They cannot apply for postdoctoral research in the same primary discipline at their doctoral institution.

2. Applicants must have strong research innovation abilities and a spirit of teamwork.

3. Applicants must have good academic ethics, a rigorous scientific attitude, and be able to meet the requirements of the position.

4. Applicants with significant research achievements will be given priority.

5. Applicants should have strong English reading and writing skills.

6. Applicants must be willing to work full-time in postdoctoral research (current employees, including those on leave from other positions, are not eligible).

4. Employment Benefits

The postdoctoral contract term is 2 or 3 years, and the comprehensive annual salary is at least 330,000 RMB.

Outstanding postdoctoral researchers will receive a competitive and sustainable salary package.

Postdoctoral researchers will have access to the exclusive postdoctoral talent development support program, with smooth career development channels.

1. The province and city will provide eligible postdoctoral researchers with an annual living subsidy of 180,000 RMB, with a total subsidy not exceeding 360,000 RMB.

2. The school offers a comprehensive yearly salary of over 150,000 RMB. Outstanding postdoctoral researchers may apply for the "Lixin Reward Program," with an additional 48,000 RMB in performance-based salary.

3. Eligible outstanding postdoctoral researchers can directly apply for teaching positions through the "Liyuan Talent Retention Program."

4. Postdoctoral researchers can independently apply for research projects at various levels as the principal investigator during their station term.

5. Eligible postdoctoral researchers can apply for professional technical qualifications.

6. Postdoctoral researchers can choose to settle in Shenzhen.

7. Shenzhen City will subsidize 300,000 RMB to postdoctoral researchers exiting the program for research investment or startup costs.

8. The latest official regulations will apply if the postdoctoral funding policy is adjusted.
