Shenzhen University WeBank Institute of FinTech is an international, high-level, research-oriented institute jointly co-established by Shenzhen University and WeBank. The institute offers full-time undergraduate and master's programs and a joint doctoral training program. The institute focuses on financial technology while also planning and developing various specialized directions such as financial big data technology applications, blockchain finance, insurtech, regtech, and more, meeting the demand for professional and technical talent in the various subfields of the fintech industry. In 2020, the institute was recognized as one of Guangdong Province's second batch of Demonstration Industry Colleges. In 2024, the institute established the Guangdong Provincial Social Science Research Base, "Fintech and Intelligent Management Research Center." 3. Application Requirements

1. Distinguished Professors: Must have been selected for national-level leadership or young talent programs.

2. Pre-Appointment: Tenured Professors/Associate Professors/Assistant Professors:

(1) Must have obtained a PhD from a high-level university (domestic or international), possess good moral qualities, a high sense of responsibility, strong team spirit, adherence to academic norms, and excellent teaching ethics.

(2) Candidates for Tenured Professor should have a high level of academic achievement and the potential to apply for national-level leadership talent programs within 3 to 5 years. The candidate's age should generally not exceed 45.

Candidates for Associate Professor positions must have achieved significant academic results, have the potential to apply for national-level young talent programs within 3-5 years, and should generally be under 40.

Candidates for Assistant Professor positions must demonstrate strong research capabilities and development potential. They should generally be under 35 and have the potential to apply for national-level young talent programs within five years.

(3) Should have systematic theoretical knowledge and rich research experience in related fields, keep up with domestic and international academic trends, and be able to propose research topics of significant practical or academic value.

(4) Must be capable of undertaking the institute's undergraduate and graduate teaching tasks.

(5) Preference will be given to candidates with overseas study/work experience.

1. Comprehensive compensation includes base annual salary + Shenzhen Peacock Program Performance Reward in three tiers (A: 600,000/year, B: 360,000/year, C: 240,000/year, distributed over 3 years) + Housing Provident Fund.

3. Research funding may fluctuate slightly based on Shenzhen city allocations.

4. Teachers eligible under Shenzhen's new doctoral talent policy may apply for a living subsidy of 100,000 yuan.
