Personal Profile

Dr. Yang Shi is currently Tenured Associated Professor at Shenzhen Audencia Financial Technology Institute/ WeBank Institute of Fintech (SWIFT), Shenzhen University. She received her Ph.D. degree in Marketing, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Before joining SABS/SWIFT, Yang has worked at HKUST as a visiting assistant professor and then worked at Lingnan College, Sun Yat-sen University as an assistant professor. She has offered English courses for UG, MSC and MBA students. Yang is interested in applying statistical and economic models to solve marketing problems. Her research areas include quantitative marketing, advertising, media consumption, cross-channel marketing, influencer marketing, visual analysis, data mining, dynamic structural models, and financial marketing. Yang’s research has appeared in international top journals. Her research work was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangdong Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science, etc.
