为增强学院学术氛围，加强学术科研合作，金融科技学院持续开展系列学术讲座。2024年11月19日下午，学院特邀请暨南大学管理学院院长黎文靖教授作专题学术讲座。

     

本次讲座中，黎文靖教授介绍了自己近期在企业创新领域的重要研究成果。主要内容为：We investigate executives’ expropriation of ordinary employees’ patent attribution rights and its impact on firms' innovation performance. Using a sample from 2007 to 2019, we find that such expropriation by non-inventor executives significantly reduces high-quality and high-value innovation outputs. The negative impact is more severe for firms with weaker judicial protection of intellectual property rights, stronger culture of hierarchy, more powerful major shareholders, and higher R&D investments. Further tests reveal the underlying mechanism that executive innovation expropriation reduces employee satisfaction and innovation efficiency, leading to higher R&D turnover. Consequently, the market competitiveness and the market value of firm products decrease following the expropriation. Overall, our study demonstrates the detrimental effect of executive innovation expropriation and highlights the importance of justifying meritocracy for innovation outputs to incentivize innovation.

黎文靖，暨南大学管理学院院长、教授、博士生导师。研究领域为会计、公司财务、企业创新、公司治理等。在国际国内一流期刊Management Science, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Business Ethics, 《管理世界》、《经济研究》等杂志上发表多篇论文。教育部哲学社科重大攻关项目首席专家。研究成果获第八届高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖（人文社会科学）二等奖、第七和第九届高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖（人文社会科学）三等奖、广东省哲学社会科学优秀成果奖一等奖(四次)。
