Personal Profile


Shen Jie is a professor of management at the School of Fintech at Shenzhen University and an adjunct professor at the University of South Australia. He has been a tenured professor or associate professor at the University of South Australia, Monash University and Curtin University. He is an internationally renowned scholar in human resource management and has received the University of South Australia's Outstanding Teaching and Research Award. He has published 8 English monographs such as Green HRM in Chinese Enterprises and International HRM in Chinese MNEs. He has published academic papers in top international journals such as Journal of Management, Human Resource Management, and Journal of Business Ethics. According to the latest statistics from Professor Zhao Shumin's team at Nanjing University, Professor Shen Jie's research contribution to Chinese human resource management currently ranks third in the world. In 2011, Professor Shen Jie proposed the concept of "social responsibility human resource management", which has been widely accepted and cited in the field of human resource management and corporate social responsibility. He was selected into Stanford University's 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 (6/2317) list of the world's top 2% scientists. In 2023, he was selected into the list of global lifetime impact scientists provided by Stanford University (22/2317). Elsevier 2021, 2022 Highly Cited Researcher.
