On the morning of May 16, Mr. Olivier NGO, Science and Higher Education Attaché, and his delegation from the Consulate General of France in Guangzhouvisited SAFTI for a close exchange with the institute leadership and representatives of French faculty. Ms. Line QIAO, Vice Dean for French side, and Ms. Wei GU, Vice Dean for Chinese side, along with 4 representatives of Chinese and French faculty attended the event.
Attaché Oliver NGOexpressed his support for SAFTI’s talent development, and introduced a series of activities such as French cultural exhibitions, cultural exchanges and other events held in Shenzhen to celebrate the 60thanniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France.He kindly invited SAFTI faculty and students to participate.
Vice Dean Wei GU expressed her warm welcome to the delegation of the Consulate General in Guangzhou. She then introduced in details the recent educational achievements and the educational exchanges between China and France, including the exchange program for French exchange students coming to study at SAFTI in the fall semester.
In addition, the representatives of French faculty shared their teaching experience at SAFTI, and had a lively discussion with the Consulate General delegation on organizing Sino-French educational exchanges at SAFTI. We look forward to more communications and cooperation with the Consulate General, continuously promoting deeper cultural connections between Chinese and French teachers and students.
