Date: 2023-11-21

To provide SAFTI students the benefit of better understanding the employment mode of foreign enterprises and clarifying their career direction, SAFTI organized students to visit French enterprises Sanofi and Capgemini in China.

Shenzhen Sanofi Pasteur Biological Products Co. Ltd.

In mid-to-late October, SAFTI freshmen visited Sanofi’s Greater Bay Area International Vaccine Innovation Center with their lead teachers. The center is the first vaccine museum in China, jointly built by the Shenzhen Municipal Government and Shenzhen Sanofi Pasteur Biological Products Co. Ltd. Sanofi is a leading global vaccine research and development and manufacturing company, which has grown from Pasteur's Personal Research Institute in 1885 to the present.

The lecturer guided the students through the exhibition hall, where displayed people’s gratitude voices from different countries around the world towards China's anti-epidemic actions. In the exhibition hall, there was a domino display area made of collapsed walls, symbolizing the heavy impact of the epidemic on human beings, with each domino representing a hazard, and the task of human beings is to rebuild, step by step, for the health and safety of all of us. Next to the scene, there was a hollowed-out tree with a headphone hanging from a dried out branch. Students can listen to the real voices of patients who suffered from the disease during the epidemic by putting on the headphone.

Sherry, Operation Manager of Sanofi, introduced the history of Sanofi to the students in the multi-functional conference hall. Sanofi has always been committed to helping human beings cope with health challenges and turning scientific innovations into medical and healthcare solutions.

The visit to Sanofi enabled the students to better understand the important social responsibility of enterprises as a member of the society, and also enabled them to more comprehensively understand the mission of individuals in this closely interconnected world, which should not be ignored.
