本科毕业于武汉大学，在香港大学取得博士，曾任教于香港浸会大学。研究方向为公司金融。论文发表在The Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis 和 Journal of Corporate Finance 等期刊上。担任Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Corporate Finance 和 Journal of Banking and Finance 等期刊的匿名审稿人。
